and Snowfall Begin Nov. 12 |
ANAHEIM, Calif. (Nov. 10, 2010) –
When it comes to enjoying the magic of the holiday season with
family and friends, there’s no place like Disneyland Resort.
The holidays will shine brightly throughout the resort beginning
Nov. 12, and clients can take advantage of special savings offered
during much of the early Holiday season. $300 SAVINGS ON FOUR-DAY, FOUR-NIGHT VACATION PACKAGE Clients can enjoy a $300 savings on a four-day, four-night Disneyland Resort Vacation Package at any Disneyland Resort Hotel if booked between today and December 1, 2010. Travel must take place by December 16, 2010. The holiday savings include all of the magical extras that come with booking a vacation package through the Walt Disney Travel Company. These benefits include preferred seating to some of the popular shows and attractions, Disneyland Resort Park Hopper tickets, a Magic Morning admission into Disneyland one hour before the park opens to the general public and a ‘Key to the Magic’ card, which allows clients to charge meals and merchandise to their resort hotel account. Along with special savings and magical extras, clients will enjoy expanded hours at both Disneyland Resort theme parks during the holiday season, as well as the return of the most popular holiday offerings. These include special holiday versions of "it’s a small world" and Haunted Mansion, along with "A Christmas Fantasy" parade featuring Santa Claus, who will also appear on the Paradise Pier Boardwalk at Disney California Adventure park and at Santa’s Reindeer Round-up in Big Thunder Ranch, Frontierland, with real reindeer grazing in a corral. World of Color, the new nighttime water spectacular at Disney California Adventure, brings its own brand of after-dark magic to the Paradise Bay lagoon for the holidays. Other holiday magic at Disney California Adventure includes the holiday transformation of "it’s a bug’s land" and the iconic "CALIFORNIA" letters at the park’s entrance to appear as swirling red and white peppermint sticks. Across the esplanade at Disneyland park, additional holiday highlights include the traditional snowdrifts and icicles adorning Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle. After dark, a castle presentation carries sensational holiday lighting and special effects all the way to the 60-foot-tall Christmas tree in Town Square, which is adorned with over 62,000 energy-efficient LED lights for a nightly holiday light show. The finale of the castle presentation includes the legendary "Believe … in Holiday Magic" fireworks show, which ends with a touching rendition of "White Christmas," along with a climactic snowfall swirling down on Main Street, U.S.A., "it’s a small world" Mall and New Orleans Square.
