Disneyland Resort Announces Temporary Closure |

UPDATE - March 19, 2020: Please note, beginning this
Saturday, March 21, 2020 the Disneyland Resort call center will be
adjusting their operating hours. Operating hours from Saturday,
March 21 through Wednesday, March 31 will be 8 a.m.-7 p.m., seven
days a week. ----------- UPDATE - March 18, 2020: Please review the below information regarding the extensions and new expiration dates for the Southern California Ticket and promotional Child Ticket at Disneyland Resort. Southern California Ticket The expiration date for the promotional Southern California Tickets will be extended day-by-day for each day Disneyland Resort theme parks are closed. Promotional Child Ticket The expiration date for wholly unused promotional Child Tickets will be extended through Dec. 15, 2020. Guests who made their first visit between Feb. 28 and March 13, but did not reach their ticket’s maximum number of uses, will have the 14-day expiration period of their promotional tickets extended to Dec. 15, 2020. ----------- UPDATE - March 17, 2020: Due to the Resort hotel closures, and in keeping with our focus on the wellbeing of our Guests and Cast Members, Disney Floral & Gifts has temporarily suspended operations through the end of the month. The Disney Floral & Gifts website will be adjusted so that no orders will process for delivery from March 16-April 3 at Disneyland Resort. ----------- UPDATE - March 15, 2020: With circumstances continuing to change rapidly around the globe, we are making critical and timely decisions based on guidance from local, national and international health agencies. As we have shared before, we are basing our decisions on the safety and well-being of our Cast Members and our Guests, since there is nothing more important than that. Based on that, at Downtown Disney in California, we will be closing all of the Disney owned and operated locations, including shops and restaurants, beginning Tuesday, March 17, through the end of the month. Like the rest of our Cast Members, those who work in the Disney owned areas will continue to be paid through the end of the month. We will continue to monitor the situation and maintain regular contact with the appropriate officials and health experts. ----------- UPDATE - March 15, 2020: Select Disneyland Resort hotel rooms and Walt Disney Travel Company vacation packages may now be cancelled online. This new online tool is available for eligible reservations that have a check-in date during the temporary closure, March 15, 2020 to March 31, 2020. To cancel an eligible reservation for your Clients at Disneyland Resort, first visit the cancellation page here. Select “Yes” for both “Did you book through a travel agent?” and “Are you a travel agent needing to cancel a reservation?” Then you will need to provide your IATA/CLI/Agency Identifier Number and your Client’s reservation number. ----------- UPDATE - March 15, 2020: Effective tomorrow, March 16, the hotels of Disneyland Resort will be temporarily closing. Please note, select Disneyland Resort hotel rooms and Walt Disney Travel Company vacation packages may now be cancelled online. This new online tool is available for eligible reservations that have a check-in date during the temporary closure, March 15, 2020 to March 31, 2020. To cancel an eligible reservation for your Clients at Disneyland Resort, first visit the cancellation page here. Select “Yes” for both “Did you book through a travel agent?” and “Are you a travel agent needing to cancel a reservation?” Then you will need to provide your IATA/CLI/Agency Identifier Number and your Client’s reservation number. As a reminder, we will protect travel advisor commissions for any packages booked through Walt Disney Travel Company that have arrival dates during the park closure periods through the end of this month. The commissions paid are in compliance with the commission policy on DisneyTravelAgents.com for Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Your Clients with Disneyland Resort hotel stays during the closure will be receiving an email communication providing them with options to change their plans. The message is here below for reference. Room-only and Package Guests (Call to cancel) We are sorry to inform you that your upcoming visit with us will be impacted by several temporary closures. While there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at the Disneyland Resort to date, after carefully reviewing the guidelines of the Governor of California’s executive order and in the best interest of our Guests and employees, we are proceeding with the closure of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park beginning the morning of Saturday, March 14 and currently scheduled through Tuesday, March 31, 2020. The Hotels of the Disneyland Resort will remain open until Monday, March 16, 2020 with the last check-in date of Sunday, March 15, 2020. We will monitor the ongoing situation and follow the advice and guidance of federal and state officials and health agencies. If you have already cancelled your upcoming Disneyland Resort hotel room reservation with us, no further action needs to be taken. If you wish to change or cancel your visit, we are providing refunds to those Guests who have Disneyland Resort hotel room reservations for any nights of stay during this closure period. If you have a Walt Disney Travel Company vacation package that you would like to modify or cancel, please call them at the number listed below. Please note that some package components are nonrefundable and subject to third-party operator cancellation policies. You should work directly with any third-party operators you have used to book any parts of your vacation package that were not booked through the Walt Disney Travel Company, including flights, travel protection and car rentals. We do anticipate heavy call volume over the next several days and appreciate your patience as we work hard to respond to all inquiries.
